The Waelzholz Group is expanding its business in Germany and will take over the Theis Kaltwalzwerke with an annual sales volume of over 70,000 tons. The acquisition is currently subject to approval by the antitrust authorities.
For Waelzholz, this step will enable a systematic expansion of its core business with high-quality cold rolled steel strip and profiles. Bundling activities in the areas of cold rolled steel strip and profiles will provide a key supplement and an attractive finish to existing Waelzholz technology, helping the company once again improve its service while maintaining the highest standards in material and product quality. Waelzholz will be able to respond to customer requests with even greater flexibility, both in Europe and around the world.
The Waelzholz Group is the global market leader in high-quality cold rolled and heat-treated steel strips and profiles, used as primary products in the automobile industry, the energy sector, and in specialized industrial engineering applications.
