COILTECH 2019 – TAILOR-MADE ELECTRICAL STEEL STRIP

Electrical steel strip for high-frequency automotive drives

In addition to CWIEME 2019 in Berlin, Waelzholz will also participate at Coiltech 2019 in Pordenone, Italy. From September 24 to 25, the company’s presence at the trade show will focus on high-strength electrical steel strip grades for the mobility concepts of tomorrow.

High-frequency electric automotive drives demand electrical steel strip with outstanding magnetic properties and high tensile strength. With its extremely stress-bearing high-strength and ultra-high-strength grades, Waelzholz meets these requirements. Thanks to a strength-increasing alloy, the HS grades achieve yield strengths of over 500 MPa and are therefore particularly suitable for the manufacture of rotor stacks exposed to high mechanical stress.

We actively assist customers from all stages of the value chain and work with them to develop tailor-made materials for every demanding application. In doing so, we always strive to create a competitive edge for our customers.

We are looking forward to your visit at our exhibition booth in Pordenone.
